About the project
In our French work, we have been learning about minorities in France and the role immigration had played in the success of football in France. We will look at researching player profiles for the French team and extend this further in discussions with our pupils.
The children were really interested in the French World Cup team and the fact that 87% were immigrants. The children made player profiles for Scotland and France and produced some keynote presentations.
Learning - From Classroom to Hampden
Learning kicked off in school before the pupils and staff made a trip to the Scottish Football Museum at Hampden to apply and extend their learning at the Rutherglen Ladies FC exhibition.
